My Story

I’m Kyle Burns, founder of Burns Construction Solutions. Building is in my blood—my grandfather and great-grandfather were both carpenters, and I grew up around tools, job sites, and a deep respect for craftsmanship.

After high school, I chose to study business because I knew from day one that I wanted to run my own construction company. When the pandemic shifted my college courses online, I didn’t sit still—I jumped into lumber sales to get hands-on industry experience. That job only strengthened my passion for construction.

I later transferred to LSU’s online construction management program while taking on a full-time construction role in Colorado. Those years gave me real-world insight, practical skills, and the drive to build something of my own.

Today, I’m back in the Athens area, bringing everything I’ve learned to Burns Construction Solutions. My focus is simple: deliver quality work, stay honest, and make the building process smooth and stress-free for my clients.
